What did you study (at school, college or university)?
I studied Physics at Columbia University in New York City. I then moved to the UK to obtain a Masters degree in Translational Biomedical Research at the University of Cambridge

How did you get into technology?
Ever since I was young, I wanted to help people in need of medical care. My first real-world opportunity to do so was during my Masters research involving a novel and exciting imaging technology developed for cancer prevention and diagnosis. This was when I started to learn to code for the quantitative image analysis. I've been working with innovative tech and hooked on coding ever since!

What advice would you give to girls looking to get into a tech related career?
Surround yourself with people you admire and want to be like in the future. This creates an environment that is, at first, very challenging but stimulating. Stay patient with yourself while you learn from these giants. Before you know it, you will reach heights that you didn't even imagine existed.
