What did you study (at school, college or university)?
Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Post Grad Diploma in Perioperative Nursing

How did you get into technology?
I have been working as a nurse for 4 years prior to changing careers into software development at the age of 27.
I have always been interested in programming when I was young, but I somehow ended up in a different field.
I told myself that it was never too late to pick up coding, so I taught myself how to code through online tutorials. I completely fell in love with it! I eventually quit my job to join a full time coding bootcamp to accelerate my learning. Three years later, I am now a senior front end developer.

What advice would you give to girls looking to get into a tech related career?
The first step is always the hardest. Conquer that, and the rest will be easier.
