What did you study (at school, college or university)?
I studied Computer Science -Artificial Intelligence at Universidad Central de Venezuela. Then I got a IT Management diploma at Universidad Católica Andrés Bello.

How did you get into technology?
When I was 9 years old (late 80s), my aunt opened an IT training company. They had programming courses for kids, so I learnt how to code in BASIC.

We had a computer at home, where I practiced coding in BASIC, LOGO and I got to know about an operating system called DOS.

We had early access to the internet because my dad was the head of the IT department of a public company. So I got really interested in web development. For me, it was a natural process to get to study Computer Science, it was what I loved since I was a kid.

What company do you work for?
Contagious

What do you do at your current company?
Full Stack Web Developer

What advice would you give to girls looking to get into a tech related career?
There is no better way to build confidence than knowledge. No one can put you down if you are good at your field and have the will to always learn new things, so never stop learning and always share with others what you know.
